Kale chips: a different healthy snack

Snack foods such as chips and French fries often contain unhealthy ingredients and can leave you feeling groggy or nauseous. Next time the craving for crunch hits, try these kale chips for a nourishing and satisfying munchie. Experiment with different spice combinations to find your favorite.

1 bunch kale
olive oil
salt and pepper
assorted spices (try cumin, cayenne pepper or garlic powder)

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Trim stems off of leaves and set aside. Cut leaves into bite sized pieces. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper and spices until evenly coated. Spread into single layer on baking sheet and bake until crunchy, about 20 minutes.
