This is Liz’s third year working with the best college newspaper in Florida. Previously, she was the assistant viewpoints editor, health & fitness editor and the news editor. When she’s not going to meetings and answering emails, balancing the budget or editing the paper, you can find her teaching pilates classes, playing tennis or making to-do lists.

Greg started taking journalism in high school. He joined The Current in the spring of 2012 as asst. sports editor before taking over as web editor in October. Greg also plays on the golf team.


Hailey EscobarAsst. Web Editor

Interdisciplinary Arts (Sophomore)
Tampa, FL

Hailey enjoys anything that allows her to unleash her creativity, but loves writing overall. Since joining The Current her freshman year, she has written for every section at least once. She’s also involved in several other clubs. As a member of the web team she looks forward to working with social media and video editing. Her future aspirations include working in the entertainment industry both as a performer and in a behind the scenes role.

Sabrina plays on the softball team and writes for The Current as well. She’s majoring in communication with a minor in journalism. On her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, boating, hanging out with friends and family and being outdoors.


Vincent LynchWebmaster

History (Junior)
Tampa, FL

Vince does web design and site management for The Current. Vince enjoys graphic design, rap music, and the pasta bar at the cafeteria. He has more than five years of experience with web design and joined The Current in 2012 to help them transition their website to a new platform.
